Almost a month had passes since that very sad day. That day of departure when our dear Sr. Tilet went off to her new journey, leaving us behind.
I was sure that some tears were shed when she left. She left without any formal notice to us and we only new that she was actually leaving because of the rumors. Too bad those rumors appeared true. We didn’t even know that she was leaving that very day of their renovation. I just happen to pass by when I noticed that her luggages are loaded in the van…
Now that she’s gone, there were rumors again and later on it became true again. The rumors said that a lay man will replace her… it turned out to be Mr. Elpidio Reyes. To our surprise, we(marillac grantees) didn’t know how to react some of us rejoiced, some wished that a nun take over and some still don’t know who is the current coordinator is. At least tere is a formal moderator for us.
For me, I don’t know… I will really miss the care and love of the old one… all her care, protection, love and concern to us working students, not as just students or workers but as person… I wish that those things will never change… I have worked with Mr. Reyes in a few occations and I think he won’t let our expectations down…
To end this entry, I would like to thank the Lord for everything He gave us… and to Mr. Reyes and Sr. Tilet, good luck in all your journeys and we will always be here to help out and serve this institution.
